Do we need to host it on a website or we can run it locally? I tried running locally by opening the index.htm and pasted my openAI key but it is not working in chrome or edge? how to run it? The page shows some HTML error

Yes you can run this locally, make sure you have pasted your API Key on the correct line in script.js
