Limiting the number of characters in the response

Hello, I'm looking to do conversation summaries of up to 10k characters or more.

The summaries can be :

• simple summary
• list of key points of the conversation
• very precise answers to questions asked in the conversation (job interview for example)

My question is: does the ChatGPT API allow (text-davinci-003) to make summaries of such long conversations? Or is it limited to a certain number of characters on the data sent to it?

Also for the answer, is there a character limit?

Finally, do you think ChatGPT could be good for this type of summary?

GPT-3+ is powerful in its ability to do summarisations for things like these, but if the input is very long you need to summarise its parts, then summarise the combination of the summaries at the end.
