Nice but fact checkers should be able to list sources, a great way to improve it would be to also show the reasoning in how it makes sense of multiple sources in a simplified way (E.g "5 meta analysis exist on the effectiveness of [x] and 4 out of 5 show that [x] is [y], thus we can safely assume that [x] is [y]")

I like the style of perplexity.ai. But, upon inspection the sources chosen are often of poor value. I’d like to see the ai fact checker use references that are fact checked themselves, or primary literature. I do think it is a great project. We basically need a fact checker to check chatgpt, because it lies like a rug. Dueling AI’s

its half wrong. it actually only contains fulvic acid which is only for plants

not for human consumption. the actual product is a scam. i was forced to drink it by family and the side effects of fulvic acid was accurate while there are no actual minerals in the products with the health claims being bogus

I have tried inputing questions or fake news and you cannot expect this AI app to give you exactly 100% accuracy over the fact check.

And, not all information is accurate because the GPT is trained to a cutoff of information from 2021. For an example:

You: There is now a new Prime Minister for the United Kingdom

AI: Yes, this is true. Boris Johnson was appointed Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on July 24th, 2019, following the resignation of Theresa May.

Remade Site with Similar Visuals but with new internals. Using SvelteKit, Firebase for rate limiting and Tailwind CSS. The difference from before is that I recoded lots of the internals to work better with the OpenAI GPT 3.5 api
