A joke turned into an actual website! Learned something cool about GPT-3 in the process.
In the 0.01% chance that you're currently a student at UIUC, this is the site (https://www.uiuc.io/compass) for you! I used GPT-3 to parse the location and other info from @UIUCFreeFood on Twitter (https://twitter.com/uiucfreefood) then geocoded it into lat/lng coordinates. The result? A working compass that steers you towards the nearest free food on campus (lol).
While creating the prompt, it performed noticeably better once I informed it that the locations were all on the UIUC campus--it knows how to expand all of the campus building abbreviations.. so cool!
