Im creating a website that uses ChatGPT. I always get super weird answers from it. What the hell is going on. Can someone plz explain?

are you sure it is chatGPT and not a GPT-3 model?

It was apparently using an older version of davinci.

Made it use version 003 and that solved it! ☺️

thank you, i was wondering what the difference is, does chatGPT not have access to its API yet?

Ive noticed that chatGPT is way better at responding to prompts than some of the other models on the openai website.

no, there is no API for chatGPT yet

you are most likely using GPT-3 davincci
