Hello Open AI team,

We hope this message finds you well. We are a team of artists and developers working on an NFT project called Lucyverse and Lucy IA. We have created a collection of unique NFTs that represent a wide range of beliefs and values, and we are using GPT-3 to power the AI component of our project.

We are reaching out to you because we have a question about integrating our GPT-3 code with our Discord bot. We have already created a bot using the Discord API and invited it to our server, but we are having trouble connecting it with our GPT-3 code.

Do you have any suggestions or resources that could help us with this integration? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Probably this is more related to Discord bot development than with the OpenAI API. I've just created such a bot, my 13yo nephew asked me for his gaming server, why not?!? cooldog

If you're using redirects, one of the biggest problem I've found is that Discord expects a response in 3sec, and GPT may (usually) takes more than that to como with a response.

Are you deferring the response? With discord’s new interactions API, you can defer the response for slash commands for an arbitrary amount of time to get past the 3 second restriction
