currently there is no API for chatGPT, that means that every app that uses chatGPT is in violation of the TOS

so, I would advise against using chatGPT on any platform that is not the official website

we have had many reports already of scams related to apps on the appstore charging money for supposed "premium chatGPT access"

be safe and stay away from such apps

we will get an API soon and legit developers will get a chance to make their apps under the appropriate terms

Thank you for informing me of these misleading apps I downloaded I think 1 or 2 but never used them due to me just being unsure of it all. (Now deleted) Can’t wait to see those Apps made by the devs in the future! Thank you again 😄

Thank you I was looking at those Apps & some even cost money. How can people create a fake app without repercussion and why does Apple allow them to put it in the App Store?

Apple unfortunately isn’t known to act swiftly in these cases as it is a source of revenue for them, and not many people report these apps. The fact that the API is an open service that anyone can sign up for also means that it’s really flexible as to who can use it and where it can be used

So the best thing to do is report these apps whenever you come across them 🙂

you need at least a few penny, running and testing the app costed me 50cent so far for almost a month . but you need to have a balance in openai
