I've been to lots of communities that make it difficult to allow me to express myself without heavily moderating my expressions no matter what form they come in. It's so bad that in a community where people post messages about toy story fanfiction that would potentially get someone in trouble for writing in most countries in the world, yet the person who got banned is the one who linked a song from a band called oingo boingo. If someone post a video of someone setting themselves on fire for no reason and that video became popular, it would continue being posted and nobody banned until someone posts an original less popular video of which the poster of the original video would get banned for violating rules about posting gore. In communities where players have to ban evade and haven't broken any rules yet, there are people who broke all the rules thousands of times over and are allowed back in without ban evading because the admins don't like the "tone" someone who had been wrongfully banned had when they had been wrongfully banned, while the one who was legitimately banned doesn't have the same tone because they know they're guilty.
