#Should I use a specific phrase to help

Lets break this into a thread.
What is a science question you want to ask chatgpt? like how would you ask it?
here is our conversation if that helps
I would like to be able to use chat gpt as a tool for quickly finding relevant information on new research areas and as a soundboard for new research ideas.
So new research is out; ChatGPT is trained on data mostly from 2021/earlier. Limited new new data has been added to training model.
p.s. i know nothing about ur field ^ the above is as foregin to me as code is to other people.
So like a great soundboard that might be able to get your brain moving laterally would maybe be shaping this question as:
"What would bind well with polylactic acid" => "What might be a process that a scientist might test what can bind to polylactic acid"
That's fine by me, but I'm concerned that it is giving made-up doi numbers and references . Essentially a doi number is a social security number for research articles. Using made-up numbers prevents gpt from working well for me...
I think the context of this though -- to the AI is fake. Since if it doesn't know the paper. It may assume you are role-playing with it.
let me try something on my side.
Is there a way to tell gpt to not role play? Thanks for all your help on this!!!
