I know that OpenAI is about to add their own version of this. Just thought I'd share if anyone is interested in the meantime. It's rough around the edges, but I'm not gonna spend much more time on it unless OpenAI takes a while to release theirs.

Adds buttons to save and load true chat state. Note that this won't actually save any of the chatlogs, just the conversation state. Pick up right where you left off.

ps the icons are purposely bad, I had ChatGPT generate them

Updated to fix some bugs that occurred when editing or reloading responses that lead to save buttons being misplaced or duplicated. lmk if you hit any bugs. You have to manually update your script with the new version.
