#Tip 2 - Using art style modifiers

Art style modifiers (such as digital art, photograph, and so on) are very important in prompts. You can find art style guides listed in #📚┃resources. Not all styles work well with all subjects.
You can think of a prompt as [subject][style]. It is possible to ask for a subject without specifying a style but you may get stock images or an art style that is not what you want. The AI has some bias toward stock photos for some subjects because of the training data it has available.
Here is an example using the prompt "a man is doing a kickflip."
Notice that three of the four are photographs with a lack of detail. Let’s change the art style by editing the prompt: "a man is doing a kickflip. digital art." This version uses the [subject][style] paradigm, applying a very general “digital art” style.
This example also teaches that if you specify a known action (doing a kickflip) you don't need to specify many other things that are commonly associated. Notice that the clothing, gender, approximate age, as well as the skateboard, are all derived from the training data.
Next we change the art style to “a man is doing a kickflip. pencil sketch.”
