OH, you need to hit the button in the upper left to start a new conversation. There should be a dropdown at the top of the page that allows you to select GPT-4. If you don't see that, then unfortunately, you'll need to sign up for a pro account, which costs money.

Is this the right channel to ask this? I have a long 18.000 tokens transcript (made with WhisperAPI of course). With either ChatGPT or the API, what is the best repeatable process to summarize this/clean it up?
Currently I have a short prompt and had to cut the original text into 5 parts manually and add the prompt each time.
The goal is to first have a cleaned up full transcript that keeps all details before progressively summarizing it further. Where do I find infos, tips or workflows to achieve this?

I realized a little late that ChatGPT stores conversations and may review them. I deleted the conversation, but I had some other conversations going as well that I don't want to delete. It you had good intentions then probably you shouldn't worry and also the messages are deleted after 30 days. (If chat history was disabled*)

Also It's always good not to share your personal info in your conversations with ChatGPT.

Hey guys, I have a transcript of 15K words and i'm trying to translate this into a complete written course, but Chat GPT 4 don't take that much text, and I can't figure out how I can give it all informations and after let him make a full course. I've tried to break this 15k words into smaller part, avec after to summarize the whole conversation but GPT4 always use the very last part and not the full conversation to create my course. Any suggestion ? I'm a bit sad that I bought GPT Plus for this task and can't achieve it :/

Honestly GPT is not great with dealing with that much text, you will get much better results doing it in smaller chunks

I would get a summary of the whole thing…compression…and then insert the detail parts

So it has the summary for context

And then can concentrate on detail

I have a summary program that creates thousands of small summaries

And then summaries of those

Etc…9 levels

And results orders of magnitudes better than doing it one command
