Community Dev Challenge: Image Gen API

Join now · Submissions close <t:1767509940:F>

Hey everyone, Baugrems here! 👋 Today we’re launching our first community Dev Challenge! I’ll be your host, and we’re kicking things off by building with the Image Gen 1.5 API (gpt-images-1.5). If you’ve been meaning to try the API or start a new project, this is a great excuse to jump in!

There’s no required theme. Build a prototype, tool, workflow, or experiment that explores the API in an interesting way. Projects don’t need to be big or polished, small, focused ideas are completely fine.

To join, share a public GitHub repository with a short README explaining what you built, how the Image Gen API is used, and how to run it locally. Screenshots or sample outputs are encouraged. Remember not to commit API keys!

We’ll review submissions and award OpenAI API credits to a few standout projects:

🥇 $75 · 🥈 $50 · 🥉 $25

Winners will be announced on January 5.

Please share your final submission in the thread below. You’re welcome to post progress or questions along the way. Excited to see what people build!
