At this point I'm just taking issue with their perpetual vagueness in their announcements. Give a release date with a fat asterisk for if it's not ready. If you have to push it 3 times, so be it, but just give a planned release date or a window between x date and y date.

Huge request for what I feel should be a simple task. Please make an internal search for gpt conversations. I frequently spend large amounts of time searching for older conversations or conversations that end up not having a title that kept up with the moving subject of the conversation and so was not easy to locate.

More complicated request: Allow GPT to search our chat history. Not just the stored information in the memory area. I understand it wouldn't be practical to use this for normal conversations but if I could just describe the type of conversation we were having - even if I couldn't remember key words in the discussion or the title it would hypothetically have a shot at locating the chat.

I’ve had something similar to this, but my chat just stops working, it sends an output to my prompt but doesn’t complete it (but has finished typing) and then will delete it. The only solution I’ve been able to come up with it making ChatGPT write a “detailed synopsis” of everything and pasting it into a new chat, and filling in blanks from there

They aren't posted anymore (that I can find), likely because they are changing so much. There are limits, but they are nothing like what we saw a year ago. There's also limits on the image generation, but it mostly just makes you go do something else for 20-60 minutes.

You can upload 10 files to every chat, so you can start with 10 files and upload 10 more as a follow up. You will reach a context point where it tells you that it's too much data and better to start a new conversation if you want to upload a new file. The one time that happened to me during a chat, I was uploading HUGE files and very deep into a conversation so I wasn't very surprised.

They added "memories" a few weeks ago, you can remove them or disable the system in settings. They moved settings to a menu that displays when you click on your profile thumb in the top-right corner. It's under settings -> personalization -> manage
