Another apex & unique skill tournament already?

We just had Apex and unique skill last week and we are going to have it again next week?

Seems they will be releasing yet another Apex creature and so they need to have a reason to drive sales in the shop for it with another Apex tournament.

So many new creatures getting pumped out is getting exhausting. Repeating the same tournaments is boring and disappointing.

And it’s another tournament that lots of newer and low level players won’t be able to participate in.
I thought this was gonna be fixed and they were gonna allow lower rarity dinos in to allow everyone to participate in tournaments

I'm glad you pointed this out @wide carbon cause I know I was filled with disappointment seeing nearly the exact same tourney format only two weeks apart. And when posted in our server, nothing but vomiting and face palming emojis, followed by a lot of venting in our frustration station.
Not only is it a near repeat as last week (cause most omegas really don't make the cut against apex and uniques), we had the same formats not very long ago too.
Beginning of March had apex, unique, omega included. End of February had apex and unique. All of these were skill.
Essentially the exact same tourney 4 times in a 2 month period. It's feeling a lot like the legendary and omega combination we kept getting over and over again recently too.
No one I know is excited to do this tourney yet again so soon.

I guess any concerns we have will be totally ignored now then. 🤷

@raw hornet I know this probably isn't the way to do this, but no one is listening, it seems.

Can we get this tournament changed so it's actually a different format (so different rarities) and more accessible to all players. It's ridiculous that this is even alluded to as a skill tournament when it's actually an advantages tournament for those that have the meta apexes unlocked Vs those who don't unlock them.

I remember when there was never an apex tournament and rarely a unique tournament. They were better times for sure.

I’ve always disliked Apex tournaments, it’s just like doing more PvP. And yes, originally they didn’t allow Apex in any tournaments. But then they decided Apex were money makers and started pumping out more and more of them, and then started doing Apex tournaments so they could do marketing of Apex DNA.

Rich does have a replacement but I don’t know if she is here.

honestly, all we ask is that a mix of commons and/or rares be available for every tourney to allow for those that don't have enough of the higher rarities to form teams to actually be able to complete a team and participate in tourney to get the bonus for the alliance... i've gotten my 10 takedowns all in losses before, but the alliance doesn't suffer that way.

Thanks for trying, all they need to do is allow a list of common to epic creatures that are allowed permanently

THIS your pretty much helpless if you can’t even use 8 creatures( newer accounts)

Another change that should happen is allow us to battle as long as we have enough creatures to do a battle(3-4)

So those who might have a few but not a full lineup can take part still

Cause it seems our voices may have been heard. Apex has been removed from the tourney and now it's just a unique & legendary tourney🥳🥳🥳

Thanks for actually answering, that means a lot, usually we don’t see any mod say anything or respond, prior to a few of the more recent suggestions it was over a year since one was reacted/responded to by the team, some of which was good or needed changes

ok, well a bit of context then. Ludia was operating without a community team for a little while. I was hired late last year to remedy that. Rich did leave be he's already replaced for many of his tasks and we want to expand the social team as well. Especially because we are aware you guys do post a lot and we rarely respond.

A few words would go a long way in appreciation or at least reaction, also while I’m here there’s been an two annoying bugs, one is where sometimes when you load in no creatures on the entire map besides bosses will spawn, and occasionally a supply drop will stuck and bug the game forcing a relaunch
