#Did we throw balancing out the door?

You can be upset at a buff, but it does fix the mirror as it can break shields. Before they literally could not beat each other... Now a mirror is by choice
I tested it and all, seems to be fixed imo
How would they draw it out though? And how is that different than any other match with people swapping and healing when they're losing?
The longest it can reasonably delay is 4 turns, which is much shorter than infinity
So what you're saying is the slower conc wins turn 1 when they both use expose. After the armor piercing counter, plus damage increase, plus vulnerability. This is a good fix
It does pierce armor, after a nice 25% boost. Battle over
Orion buff when
Whether or not it wasn't fixed is debatable, but it definitely didn't make it any worse
Conch can still infinite. All depending on what builds you are facing. Didn’t fix any problems and made it stronger…
im not exaggerating either. the passive shielding is what ENABLES the mirror matches
why is your name BuffConch-
this didn't age well
most of the time it will still result in infinite matches as both conlochs may feel inclined to play passive
and so what if it DID fix infinite matches?
the buff helped it drastically against EVERYTHING that counters it (aside from thylos)
Choosing to play passive is much different than simply not being able to beat each other. The issue was that you could turn your phone off knowing if your opponent attacked they would lose. Now if you walk away, they expose weakness and you lose...hence incentivizing trying to win.
I've had 3 mirrors since the update, and no passive attempts.
there are still cases where both with the ideal build can infinitely draw it out
and I'll just repeat my point again, so what? Even if they fixed infinite matches, buffing the already #1 creature is not the way to go about it
Again, you have to actively play. No different than old school dilos matching off. Or triceratopheaddragon stalling forever
I can repeat what I said thrice if you'd like
they turned a monster into an even bigger monster
Ok, that was never my point though. I pointed out it was a buff in the comment where you quoted me
right, but you were undermining that they buffed it to trade off for the fact that it doesn't always have endless mirror matchups
Problem is it needs to lose stall and be more offensive, not keep stall and be more offensive
exactly. I think the shield break is fine if they toned down its healing
then again, I also think conloch doesn't deserve shield break
it only has a few counters and most of them only win because of their shields
Giving Hastening Shelter a delay would probably help at least a little
Gains sinraptor as a counter in advantage
Just cuz
Sinrap still loses
(this does not fix the mirror matching issue. Yall just made it 100% worse)
