Do pantherator has affliction first move?

In tournament I started with pulmonoscorpius and opponent with pantherator. Opponent used first and last move and my pulmono got affliction how???

Pantherator has a reactive that afflicts the opponent if they are distracted (you can unlock it with a t5 enhanced Pantherator)
