Hello.

I wanted to ask if it is possible to remove hardware encryption from Samsung T7 Shield SSD drives. I plan to use VeraCrypt, but I'm not sure if it's possible to completely disable Samsung's functionality. I've seen people say that there are persistent files from Samsung's software.

You can just not enable able security mode. It is an optional feature but it's always going to baked into the firmware.
