Does anyone know a way about remotely removing 2fa from a Samsung account if the attached phone number no longer exists and there was no security codes made before?(I have full access to my email, to the attached Google account, I know every password to everywhere I just can't get trough the 2fa because the only selectable option is the old non-existing phone number)

Hello! @smoky reef

You will have to contact samsung support for this issue

As long as you have all the info they ask to verify it's you that owns the account, you should be able to request the 2FA to be reset

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/

This is a joke right? I should wait 3 hours right here?

unfortunately it does take some time occasionally
but there is no other way of being able to get into the account unless you have samsung support reset the 2FA
trust me, i wish it was faster too
had to go through the same thing with my own account with a pretty identical issue

there is another way
they have a number you can text for this stuff instead of waiting at that exact site
basically an identical system
text "support" to 1-800-726-7864 and you can do it via text messaging instead of in the website, so you would be free to do other stuff while you get help or are waiting to get help

same process i used myself for my issue
