#Bixby error on s23

Whenever I'm connected to the internet, trying to use Bixby gives a generic error message: looks like something went wrong. Try again later. I have tried resetting Bixby, but there is no change. I have one UI 5.1; fully up to date.
what else could I try?
Also when connected, it's only the speaking part that's broken, I think. I can still type. (Online functions broken though)

If you're experiencing issues with Bixby on your Samsung Galaxy S23 when connected to the internet, here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

  1. Check Your Internet Connection:
Ensure that your internet connection is stable and working properly. Bixby relies on an active internet connection for its speech recognition and other online functions. You can try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue persists on both.

  2. Clear Bixby Cache:
Clearing the cache for Bixby may help resolve issues with the app. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Bixby > Storage > Clear Cache. Restart your phone and see if the problem is resolved.

  3. Update Bixby:
Ensure that Bixby is up to date. Sometimes, updating the app can resolve issues. Go to the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store, search for Bixby, and update it if a new version is available.

  4. Check Bixby Voice Settings:
Verify that your Bixby Voice settings are configured correctly. Open Bixby, tap the three vertical dots (menu) in the upper right corner, and select Settings. Check the language settings, permissions, and any other relevant settings.

  5. Check Samsung Account:
Ensure that you are signed in to your Samsung Account, as Bixby may require this for some features. Go to Settings > Accounts > Samsung Account to check your account status.

  6. Check for System Updates:
Make sure your phone's operating system is fully up to date. Sometimes, system updates can resolve compatibility issues. Go to Settings > Software update and check for any available updates.

  1. Disable and Re-enable Bixby:
You can try disabling Bixby, then re-enabling it to see if that resolves the issue. Go to Settings > Apps > Bixby > Disable. After disabling it, re-enable it and check if it works properly.

  2. Factory Reset (as a Last Resort):
If all else fails, you can perform a factory reset on your device. This should be considered a last resort, as it will erase all data on your device, so make sure to back up your important data before doing this.

  3. Contact Samsung Support:
If the issue persists, it might be a more complex problem that requires assistance from Samsung's technical support team. They can provide further guidance and help you diagnose the issue.

It's worth noting that Bixby's functionality may vary based on your region and language settings, so double-check that your language and region settings are correctly configured for Bixby's voice recognition. If the problem is still not resolved, it's a good idea to get in touch with Samsung's customer support for more specific assistance.

These are all things I've attempted in the past.

Oddly enough, after waiting for a bit it's working again. Will see if it's permanently fixed or just temporary.
