specifically:

what game version are you using?
are you using the mod or datapack?
what version of the mod/datapack?
is this issue on single or multiplayer?
do you have the resourcepack set up correctly? (mod: move "mod resources" above the default minecraft resourcepack. datapack: copy the datapack files into your resourcepack folder (dont forget to also activate it in-game)
are you using any other mods/datapacks?

This is either a mod, datapack, or plugin conflict. Considering you said you downloaded the mod on Forge I am going to assume it's a mod conflict. Any other mods installed aside from FTF?

Same problem, probably a datapack conflict because i had like 30 datapacks and suddenly stopped working
