I have some ideas for my character regarding the lore of the SMP, namely a person who's empathy and care for others could be their downfall/lead to a sort of opening for the Fool to take hold of their body and mind, and allow people to learn more about him. I was also thinking that they would find different ruins of old places, such as the piglin city and/or something like Sanctum, and try to restore them to their former glory because they don't want these civilizations to die out. However, I'm well aware that this would probably be incredibly overpowered or even lore-breaking, so I thought I would ask:
What limits are there on coming up with your own character lore? Where is the limit where you can't meddle with things at all, and where is the limit where you would need to talk to one of the writers/mods first?
