I'm making a server to spook my friends with other mods too(which is why the server is in version 1.20.1), but how do I install the data pack and resource pack if it is intended for 1.20.5? Will it affect the server?

The From The Fog Github releases page contains a version of From The Fog for every Minecraft 1.20 version, be sure you're using the one that corresponds to your Minecraft version.
