I might be a helper, but trust me that this is a completely unbiased opinion and truthful description.

From The Fog or FTF adds the Minecraft myth Herobrine in a subtle and discreet way, but it can also be far more direct if you like. The datapack/mod has features such as stalking, lurking, creeping, and if you'd like to make a it little more extreme you can always turn on burning base or just jumpscares! The datapack/mod's features are easily configurable in game, so you can customise your Herobrine experience to just the way you'd like it to. Most if not all features are able to be enabled or disabled interchangeably. Overall in my own opinion, it is an incredibly coded and customisable datapack/mod, that will definitely give you at least a few spooks or scares. I highly recommend trying it out. If you'd like to know more, you can visit the datapack/mod's website, to see more information. Or, I could tell you more if you're interested.

Hope this helps at least a little :)

Anyone know why the datapack is recommended for a multiplayer server rather than just the mod?

#

Is it like just a potential conflict thing?

@signal tide please make a new thread for other questions

Maybe whatever chat mod you're using for the icons at the bottom right are messing with it?

#

Since the function command is the only way to really access the config properly

Yeah fair enough

#

But it is a datapack originally so

#

The mod is more of a combined version of both the datapack and resourcepack

that most probably wont happen, as they want to keep the datapack and mod versions the same
