i tried to downloaded the fog mod but when i try to open it it says it cant be opened bc its corupped , i tried to downloaded it from multiple places but it just doesnt work , what do i do?

Do you even know how to install a mod? Look up a tutorial

Opening a jar file wont work lol, move the jar file into the mods folder, assuming you've already installed Forge or Fabric and it should work :>
