Structures spawning too often?

when i load up a world, and adventure further out i often see way too many mossy pyramids or sandstone pyramids in the ocean, i was wondering if there was a file i could change to decrease structure spawn rates?

in theory yes, but i just opened the file on github and it doesnt really give much info, so unless you really know what you're doing i wouldnt recommend it
