Payload Cloud Custom DNS gets Cloudflare error ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

We're using Payload Cloud.
Project ID: 673e5e6b322082258e963eae

1. I added a custom root domain and set both the CNAME and A records. This resulted in ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH.
2. I reverted the CNAME and A records after 10 minutes of it not resolving.
3. I deleted the records from PayloadCMS Cloud. I now see from this message (#1298589276367224863 message) that that may have been a bad thing to do.
4. I changed the CNAME and A records again 30 minutes ago.
5. After 30 minutes, I'm still getting the ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH error.

I'm wondering if the certificate issuing was rate limited for our domain like the case in #1298589276367224863 message ?

Is there something that can be done to fix this? We're trying to migrate from Vercel to Payload and would prefer not to have downtime to do the transfer. Thank you!
