Cannot upload portrait iPhone photos

Has anyone else oberved this? I saw that there was a fix in autumn 2023 while processing images with sharp but the problem still exists. Any suggestions what to do?

I saw another post about this recently, and they also reported they saw a fix was added.

Are you able to upgrade to 2.28 and see if it has been fixed?
