Is a MongoDB in an Azure container instance silly?

I'd like to keep DB costs as low as possible and it wouldn't be large or used heavily. Is it worth it to do the DB as a container or should I just use Atlas?

It's fine, but you may find Atlas to be cheaper depending on your use cases, especially as Atlas has a free tier

but if you're hosting on a single VM then it doesn't really matter
