Relationship field not updating UI but saving to database

I have a relationship field that is saving to the database when I press the save button but not updating the UI until I reload the page.

I have seen that usually happening when you update the collection config and the database entries have a different structure.

Sometimes a bad configuration of config file seems to do the same.
