I want to take out admin-panel as a react application from the Payload to customise it.

Hi @fast oriole Unless you where to fork a copy of the Payload CMS repo for your own use you will need to just rely on custom components https://payloadcms.com/docs/admin/components#swap-in-your-own-react-components, they are incredibly powerful if used well.

However, this may not be the only way in future as the Payload team have this feature on roadmap priority one https://github.com/payloadcms/payload/discussions/293
