so i know there's going to be snow and people were asking if weather would damage bases but hear me out with this.
what if snow storms were implemented where it would require you to use more fuel, electricity or burn more wood to keep your house warm during the snow storm to prevent you from getting sick/dying, keep your food from freezing (or letting it freezes because if warmer temperatures, eating it would cool you down), it would destroy your clothes, make any batteries in your house being used for electricity or vehicles (if that's going to be a thing) get destroyed because of the cold and make pipes freeze requiring you to find piping to replace in order to get running water again (again if that is going to be implemented)
and likewise with snow storms, have tornadoes where you have to find better materials to fortify your house against the storms and have extremely hot days where you need to drink more water, run less, stay inside cool areas etc.
i feel like this would make this game, on top of everything else you guys are already implementing, be what DayZ players wanted DayZ to be like and would make a TRUE survival game. i understand it might be tedious for some of your more casual players that don't play as frequently but that's where the whole "staying in an rv" thing would benefit them vs an actual house because they could just park their rv somewhere that doesn't have these weather problems or park them where they do and fortify the locations.
