#Prisoners & lasting injuries.

I would love to see a more realistic survival game with the element of "only the strongest survive". By this i mean, perhaps an injury that is sustained will be with you for quite some time. A limp from after breaking a leg, cant use a hand tool after breaking arm, etc.

But the biggest thing id love to see in Ardem is enemy prisoners. If you take a prisoner, from another faction, they are unable to break out of handcuffs, you can put them in cars, or jail cells, etc. Im thinking of in walking dead with the different surviving groups and how they would take prisoners for ransom or leverage. It would heighten the RP aspect for sure!

Honestly, if you guys released the game today, it would be better than every other zombie survival game.

Not very feasible! Players would log out and play on another server

It's a solid idea, but once someone has already been a prisoner they just kill themselves normally.

Same with the injury system, if I had a lasting limp or the inability to use certain tools because of a previous injury, I'd just respawn.

What about people who get taken prisoner and the capturers just don' log back in again or switch servers?

This is a nice idea in a controlled and trustworthy RP community, but it also a open gate for people to live out their bored sadism or just be greifers and assholes.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. Unfortunately the idea really only works for RP side of the game. I always play the survival game as if it is my only life so respawning is out of the question for me, unless of course there is a glitch or something. I always like to see how my character can endure.

I prefer to play PVE as a nomadic hunter/ fisher.
I don't like PVP because it's too stressfull. RP is a two edged sword since everyone wants to be the biggest badass throatslitting longcock mcharddick.

100%, I was big into DayZ RP as well which was alright when I started out, but you're right. My experience was more often than not ruined by just some outlandish crap. as far as RDRP was concerned it was just to cringe for me.
