A simple idea like soldier, cook, doctor, Scavenger.
Benefits: Each class would give a % better loot depending the area they looting. would make co-op more meaningful.
Example: A cook looting the kitchen would find a can of beans, while the other classes would find a can of dog food.
Intro/tutorial - main character having flashbacks while sleeping from the begining of the apocalypse.
Example depending on the class- soldier- Fort camp being overrun by zombies- Doctor, trapped in hospital- Cook trapped in a fast food restaurant. OR make the same for all survivor classes of having base overrun by zombies.
Lore , stories about survivors situations/demise is critical. even if its a radio recorder or a diary in paper.
Enemies/Quests: Cannibals, Factions , a simple trader to start would be enough.
Zombie infested city for pvE/pvP.
Improved animations while doing a action, opening windows , cooking food. Especially for third person.
( I realise some of them takes some time to make and smooth things over and im sorry if someone already said something similar in another post , i didnt see it. Love the project and the passion you (devs) have, hoping to provide intel make one the best zombie games so far.)
