Hello! I love games with beautiful skyboxes, the image I attached is a real life picture, but I would love to see these tupes of sunsets in the game! Stars and moon cycles too! It could be a full moon with bright nights, or a new moon where its super dark out, etc etc. Also would love to see more work on Light Shafts, making forests more ambient and immersive, and light going into windows onto the floor.
Im sure alot of this will be mods, but thought I would throw it out there.

That was one sunset during last Playtest. The engine can even create rainbows.

But I totally agree that a well rendered sky can improve a lot the atmosphere of a game.

What about the moon phases? Full moons 🌕 being bright (maybe good time to do some night work or go looting?) and the new moons 🌑 being dark (maybe more zombies and the impairment of seeing well?)

Can't say as the moon wasn't rendered at that time, but the moonlight was present and when it's not shining, night was really dark (with raytracing).
