#NPC Human Survivors / Bandit Factions?

I love that idea
This is a great idea to keep the game from feeling stale and they should randomly try and attack your base from time to time
NPC spwaning aroud the survival had recently a big negative impact in SCUM, at least the way they done it its painfull cuz they spawn around in packs like zombies and they both come to us, if they had routes with resources and also in specifict places, securing them its just a good thing i would say.
i quit playing scum because of the NPCs. spend 3 hrs looting and then get shot by them without even knowing where they were.
Yap, this is what missing from evry survival game. (7days to die, project zomboid, DayZ etc)
Love the idea
The problem with NPCs/Bandits is that they need to be balanced almost perfectly which is in of itself almost impossible. If they're to strong or to weak, to many or few in # and players will complain and AI is not an easy thing to mess around with. As Pedator said, they almost destroyed Scum literally and in other games like Grayzone Warfare they are incredibly strong/crackshot which is a huge complaint. No one loves spending hours gearing up to be domed 100m away by an AI.
Dayz had AI mod. Didnt enjoy being snipped from 500 meters away
"No one survived" has AI bandit camps and npcs you reacue to work in your base/farm

That you can hire Workers to hold you farm and plant crops for you
Of course if you have the crops Maybe you can put then in a box or Crate and then they will take what you have sat them to do
And if you give them a weapon they can protect your base and guard it
oh yeah!!
Please don't, scum did this and ruined the game.
