Just watched the complete trailer for the new design style from low poly, I enjoyed actually both styles, my suggestion would be a setting to go from “legacy graphics” to standard to switch from the realistic to the low poly and back and forth. Not only would it allow a wider range of players since not everyone can run amazing graphics but it was also allow better performance on handheld like steam deck or for PlayStation etc. to allow more player interaction. #1160583696223588532

Im sure theyll have an option to lower graphics. But idk about a legacy option.

That would be nice to have for variety so everyone can be happy but of what I heard and saw those low poly graphics were free designs to take and use for their game. That said it would make a huge impact on future of game development not only of cost of making those designs but the time that needs to be taken into action will double it up. And looking at the new gfx with good optimization it should be no problem to run a game on steam deck or even better on a console if they are planning on releasing it on consoles in the first place but if they do then i dont think its any near close to any time soon since it need more balancing and texture compression and other stuff that needs to be adjusted for consoles.

To do this, they’d essentially have to remake the game once more, and IMO it’s not really worth their time and efforts. While it would be cool, majority of gamers prefer stylized visuals
