Ok thanks! I'll make sure I start deep breath on pull then. Is not having the higher crafted weapon really hurting me then damage wise or is there other things I can do rotationally to improve? I guess my always be casting/uptime isn't always the best (average 75% I think) so I could probably work on improving there or at least hitting azure strike whilst moving if hover is on cd

you could definitely hover more. Remember that Deep breath resets Hover charges as scale

I think I tend to hold onto hover for more when I need to move. I guess If i'm using deep breath half as much as I should be then that alone could give me a lot more hover so I should always be using hover before deepbreath to take advantage of the cd reset then?

Ah. so with the deep breath cd reduction.. it should pretty much be hover on cd unless I know to hold it because I need to use the jump forward in a few seconds
I mained a mage beforehand so I think i'm using it more as a blink and I am say an icy floes or w/e the cast while moving spell was called

i wouldnt say on CD no, you just can be very liberal with it
if youre every not disintegrating while moving and have hover up, you probably could have planned better
look at the logs comparison and compare DISINT damage
if youre lower, find ways to get more Disint uptime in

So in the comparison logs they have 4 more casts but 35 more hits - so i'm definitely clipping short because of not planning better with hover then, they also have 1 cast shy of double the hover uptime
So if I utilise hover & deep breath more i'm probably going to notice a fairly significant increase then, the other evokers disin is almost 100k more dps than mine too
Also looks like I should be swapping eternity's span for engulfing blaze in that talent tree as well

yes on pure ST you can drop ESpan
use the addon Talent Loadout Ex and create a ST vs Default set
and a 3rd talent loadout with Charged Blast

for padding/add control you could see charged blast on Queen
parsing on first boss and Silken Court

Ok, i'll give the talent changes, try use hover more and deep breath on pull and on cd in the raid Wednesday. Hopefully I do better
