#Preservation Dungeon Logs Review

Looking at your Boralus 2 key: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/NkJwT3hQy8LKvztP#fight=38&type=casts&source=16
Basic stuff
- First things first, fix your talents. Erasure is so trash that the point is completely wasted even in the best scenario, and you're not even pressing Rewind.
- Landslide might have an use, but you're not using it.
Skill usage
- You're not pressing your buttons. You had 15.7 CPM (casts per minute), while it should be somewhere around 35-40.
- You're not pressing Echo basically at all. The Echoes provided by TA are at 30% effectiviness, so instead of copying spells at 105% effectiviness they're copied at 31.5%.
- Really low Reversion usage, it's a really good heal due to Golden Hour. (although admittedly +2s deal so little damage normally that you probably won't benefit much from it unless someone stands in fire)
- If you have downtime/don't need to heal, just send Fire Breath/Chronoflames at the enemies, they feed you Essence Bursts which means you get to use more Echoes which means more healing.
- Disintegrate isn't worth it. Just send Chronoflames.
- Start Lifebinding your ECs, it turns it into a really strong cooldown instead of healing on random targets.
I really suggest going over the Wowhead guide especially this part: https://www.wowhead.com/guide/classes/evoker/preservation/rotation-cooldowns-pve-healer#rotations-echowarden-mythic
And you can get the talent build from here: https://www.wowhead.com/guide/classes/evoker/preservation/talent-builds-pve-healer#mythic-talent-build
@dense onyx Thank you. So basically I should be placing more hard echoes and that will increase my CPM? And Throughput? Makes sense. I use hard echos more in raid because in dungeons I find it harder to have the time to prep before my group needs the healing but I’ll give it a try. As for the double rewind. I’m not sure I comprehend why that is bad since healing is doubled in dungeons so each of the 2 rewinds 30%. I want to say I usually do use it in dungeons and I picked the double rewind because I am still learning the mechanics and can’t always predict the best times to hold or use rewind is so in a sense it’s giving me a second chance to use if another big burst of damage goes out. Am I looking at this wrong?
Rewind at 33% has the single issue that it usually doesn't heal enough, there's a reason why back in DF when it was originally 50% and then nerfed a few times and ended up at 33% that it eventually got the 100% buff in dungeons that it still has. It basically didn't actually heal enough to be considered a big cooldown. I get it that you're not going to plan CDs for pulls in the starting keys, but you can just keep it as a "oh shit" button with its full power and it will usually end up doing enough to save the group. Once you're more familiar with the dungeons you will start picking out spots where to use it.
Also to fix the casts per minute, you should just use all of the buttons more. More hard cast Echoes on the team, more Reversions to have a base HoT and healing amp up, more Chronoflames at enemies to deal damage and gain Essence Bursts and Temporal Compression (which is really important once you get your 4pc)
