Why aren't you following the setup guide if you're having such a hard time? Or even the wiki if you were doing it manually?

#

If you simply follow the setup guide, then the entire setup process for GC takes no more than 5 minutes.

Okay major news for I was able to make it work and now I’m stuck where it won’t attach to the router because of a string in the game what’s the best way to fix this

#

It’s “ SGV_ActivityTowerChallenge_MonsterLevel”

The best way to fix this is to follow the setup guide. If you're trying to modify the src to your own needs, then you need to provide specifics about the changes you are making.

Okay well where can I find a guide this is all new to me I’ve never modded before so I’m a bit slow sorry

#

The reason it took forever as well was because to move the excel output and the binoutput took forever to move to the folder

If you were following the setup guide you 1. wouldn't have downloaded resources separately, and 2. not moved anything

#

I assumed you were aware of it since you were downloading things and using the repository. The README is on the front of the github page, and also here in support in the very aptly named channel... #1025543438604710018

#

You had to see the readme to get the src, after all.

I’m downloading Genshin impact 4.0.0 and it’s gonna take a whole week but I already have 5.7???

Ok if you can make your own server for 5.7, you can play with that client. But if you don't, you cannot.

#

Due to protobufs, client and server versions are strictly enforced. You cannot play on a server if the client is a different version than what it supports.

#

Official Grasscutter supports up to 4.0, but forks go up to 5.4. If you don't care about hosting your own server, you can connect to YuukiPS which is running Grasscutter for 5.7.

#

If you really want your own local server specifically for 5.7, you would need to first get 5.7 protos, deobfuscate them, and build Grasscutter with them. It is an iterative process as much of the deobfuscation will be incorrect, and you will have to swap fields around until they are correct.

If you want the simplest answer to that:
Download 5.4 if you want to localhost the latest supported version, simply get the 5.4 AIO (which is the server) in Cultivation.

Just connect to YuukiPS through Cultivation (ps.yuuki.me on 443 with https) if you want to play on 5.7.
