Official Grasscutter has had no developments.
Forks are doing fine though, and you can check them out on their respective github pages. The only noteworthy thing is newer versions supported. There is no new implementations, because they are new versions and you know that everything breaks when that happens - not makes new things work.
So it's forks mainly spitting out new versions, but not updating further into them, like implementing quests, abyss, etc. Sure, they'll fix them to a more playable state, but that's mainly it.
Basically the forks are just making the new versions playable but broken, yes
4.7 came out and then was basically never publicly updated again afterwards, maybe one time only
5.0 will likely get more love than that since it's a major update, but keep expectations realistic
I see. With all the forks off doing they're own thing, it just seems weird that the official hasn't been updated. But maybe that can change, who knows. Regardless, thanks for the update. Have a good one!
