do i need to reinstall genshin?

i already have genshin 4.1 but the ps's versions are obviously 3.7, do i have to reinstall genshin entirely for yuuki or do i download this silly thing and replace files

The ps version is 4.0, and you cannot use the thing you screenshotted. As it shows, that is only to update from 4.0.0 to 4.0.1

You need the full 4.0 client

That does mean you need to download the full 56gb

It needs to be kept separate from other game folders, so after you download it then it must be extracted to it's own folder.

You went down to update, and then screenshotted the 4.0.0 TO 4.0.1 update file

good news i got through almost everything relatively uneventfully but right as i was about to go ingame i realized i downloaded the wrong language

now my dumbass has to reinstall genshin because my monkey brain didnt bother to think what was 2 pixels above my screen
