I searched a lot through this discord server and a lot on YouTube/Redit or other social medias. And can't find a proper answer of using 3Dmigoto on offcial servers. Some claim it's bannable as it is 3rd party software. Other claims it doesn't really break Hoyoverse ToS as it is not exploiting the game, and also it does not mess with Game files, it only put an " Overlay ". So... How it really works? Is it more/less safe? Is it already detected by Hoyo anti-cheat software? I'm confused.

Migoto injects into the game only as it runs, so it's not modifying files. Injecting things into games is inherently something that anti-cheats are designed to detect, however in specifically Genshins case, they don't seem to flag it.
HSR seems to have a better anticheat that detects it, as there have been lots of ban reports in the modding Discord pertaining to using HSR model swapping
In theory, you should be fine, but there is no guarantee they won't update the AC and just obliterate everyone who model-swaps on official servers, so if you really care about your account (though, they would not ban you permanently the first offense, judging from the HSR reports), you probably should stick to doing it on private servers only.
