So I updated from 2.7 to 3.6 today, updated cultivation, downloaded 2.0.0 unstable and launched it, all went fine, logged in, entered the game, ran around a bit, but I decided I want to start over so I deleted my account from the last time I played on 2.7 and re-created it, now I am stuck on Invalid account format. I've deleted and recreated the account many times now, tried different account names and UIDs, deleted the accounts manually from the DB (sometimes GC doesn't delete an account with the account delete command) Nothing works. Tried manual and automatic RSA.

Invalid account format means ur proxy not workin, connecting to official servers
What could have changed? I connected to gc literally 10 minutes ago, logged into my gc account I created back in the day on 2.7
Why did it suddenly stop working and how to I start the proxy up again?
Time doesn’t matter if it’s 1ms 10min 100mon 1000years you just have proxy disabled or proxy root cert not installed
Does Cultivation automatically uninstall the cert or disable the proxy?
No
Just turn on use internal proxy and install proxy cert again and check launch with grasscutter
Ok I'll try turning it off and on again brb
Ok tried with proxy, tried without proxy, clicked install certificate like 5 times, still doesn't work.
Hmm I deleted everything related to Cultivation and installed it again now it seems to work.
Let's see for how long
Not very long it seems, restarted the game once more, Invalid account format
If that's really a proxy issue, is there a more reliable way to proxy the game instead of Cultivation? It's a bit annoying if I have to reinstall the whole thing every time I want to re-launch the game.
Cultivation definitely doesn't change anything after having played once lolol, what version are you on and, when the game is open, are you proxy settings set in Windows?
It does disable the proxy when closing the game, and re-enables it when opening it, but if it works once it should work every subsequent time
Cultivation 1.1.0, downloaded from github today, GC 2.0.0-unstable as written in the server console.
I noticed it in fact turns the manual proxy off after closing, but does not manage to turn it on again once it's been turned off. Reinstalling Cultivation allows it to toggle proxy on, once or twice and then it'll fail to do so, but it seems I can just turn it on manually
I start it elevated btw
(every time)
Hm, that's very odd but all you should need to do then is turn it on/off manually from now on
You can try 1.0.27 and see if it does the same thing
Theres been a few changes between versions so it could be something weird and unexpected
Alright, I might do that, thanks!
As another debugging thing, you can try navigating to your Culti folder with an admin terminal and doing .\cultivation.exe --no-gui --proxy and seeing if it gets set while that runs
That minimally opens the proxy and nothing else, so you can see if something is going on
I can confirm neither Cultivation 1.1.0 nor 1.0.27 are able to turn the Proxy on anymore. even with --no-gui --proxy But even if turning it on manually I now get connection error when trying to play on GC.
Always show your grasscutter CMD logs whenever you're getting something new, also make sure Encryption is disabled from Culti settings. If you aren't already using the Questing all-in-one download (which is the unstable version you said you have), you should download that as it comes fully preconfigured with new resources and everything
