I thought with private server being hosted on the same machine/LAN, you could even play the game offline but it seems that's not the case? Since some "information" is still sent to the official servers so, I'm wondering what kind of information that is? Since, I'm a F2P who've spent a lot of time and I don't want to risk even a small chance just for a bit of fun.
#What exactly is this information being leaked to official servers?

There is 0.0000000001% chance it affects your actual account in any way
as in, nobody in the history of all of grasscutter has ever been banned for using it
if you're paranoid use a diff pc
Is it possible with Virtual Machine?
If you want to set up a vm to run genshin, sure
you can play fully offline after login, by the way (local server, not online of course)
You will waste a lot of time thinking about the problem of being banned, because they really don't care about your private account as long as there is no data, items that are transferred from the private server to the official server
After login? So it does require a legitimate account registration?
