So I've got VMware and stuff set up. For the register editing, how do I use regedit to remove the right of one specific application from viewing the registers, or do I remove the read write access from all admins?

id have to recommend using a type-1 hypervisor (hyperv for win, qemu for linux). itll ensure more control with what you can do instead of trying to hack your way to do any tinkering.
