So I saw a post on support that was talking about il2cpp not loading (basically genshin crashing). One person recommended going into the Genshin Launcher and repairing the game, however when I go into the launcher that option isn't available. So, do I need to update my game? I currently can't, so I wondering if I am out of luck or not.

The error generally occurs due to bad patching, you should have made a copy of the original userassembly before patching which you would be able to put back (to return to vanilla) without having to repair in the launcher. If you have that, then just place it back and try to run the game

Can I not play 3.2 on the private server now? (I'm assuming that not having the 3.2 patch means I can't)

That is correct, you must patch to play

So what you're going to want to do is first, make sure your actual game is updated to 3.2, then make sure you are patching the game correctly
