#starting out, grasscutter is not installed or set!

You've downloaded/installed Cultivation, but not grasscutter
If you have downloaded grasscutter, then set the grasscutter jar in cultivation settings
oh wow, mabey i should've figured i'd need that too
You only need it if you want to host a local server
If you plan on playing on an external server, you just need to connect to that server
is there any specific server people like to use?
#1021267906505490472 - genshin.ps.yuuki.me or cherrymint.live would be my recommendations
alright something's happening,
crashed lol
alright, getting a error that specifically asks me not to report it, but i have no clue how to fix it
The reason it says that is because it's not a real error and doesn't need to be fixed
huh
You can go to Cultivation settings and set a custom bg if you really don't want to see it in the console
then i have no clue why it doesnt launch, any way to troubleshoot that?
You're probably trying to patch metadata, turn it off in cultivation settings
that fixed it but now it cant find the game, gonna have to figure out how to fix that
is it different depending on wether i have it through epic games or not?
Yes, you need to set your game exe in Cultivation settings, as it defaults to the official launcher location
You may also need to repair/verify game files in the official launcher to restore original metadata if it is having issues
so move the genshin.exe into the cultivation folder'
You sure do, for external servers that'll mean you just log in with the name you want and any password, though you should still use a somewhat unique name so that other people don't log in to your account
That is to say, you don't use real accounts and you don't use an email, just any name and password you want
Progress is saved, yes, though you may see yourself rolled back if you alt+f4 instead of exiting from the esc menu
one final question, the banners are rotating? and is there no weapon banner
If you're playing on cherrymint, the banners do rotate
is there a channel that has a description of every servers banners and such
No, generally they're just set to whatever the current official banners are. cherrymint has rotating banners of (I believe) every previous banner
ah alright
But as banners are set by the server, it's just up to whatever they set it as
thanks a bunch, couldn't have wrapped my head around this alone
No problem
