Basically, just update to 2026. The US-Iran war has killed thousands of people, possibly up to 10,000 according to Wikipedia. 42,000 more are injured. That’s 52,000 total casualties. And we are 7 weeks in. 10,000 deaths in 7 weeks is about ~1,400 deaths a week. For comparison, the Russo-Ukrainian war caused 2,000 deaths in the first week. The US-Iran War is already showing a level of lethality that is already 70% that of the Russo-Ukrainian War, even though we are only 7 weeks in. ~42,000 injuries in 7 weeks is ~6,000 injuries a week. Essentially, this war is serious. I obviously don’t expect this change to happen immediately, but I hope it happens eventually.
