I wanted to share a few ideas that could improve it:

Military bases
• Players could build military bases in their own or allied countries.
• Bases should be managed by paying money to maintain them, with stationed troops and the ability to launch attacks.
• Bases could also be destroyed, similar to cities.

Drones, missiles & balance
• Sometimes I have shot down around 300,000 drones, but they have almost no visible effect.
• Drones should have a clear impact on cities or military bases.
• It would also be interesting to add missiles that can attack cities and military bases.
• Production should stay realistic (no extremely large numbers per day), but units should have a noticeable effect.

Naval units
• It would be great to add submarines, warships, and trade ships, making sea warfare and economy more important.

Map realism (Russia example)
• Russia often collapses quickly and then many countries attack it, making the map look chaotic and very colorful.
• After defeating a country, territories should be divided more realistically (for example Japan taking eastern Russia).
• This could improve realism for the whole world, not just one case.

Coalitions and diplomacy
• Closely related countries could sometimes form coalitions or unite (for example Germany and Austria if relations are very good).
• This already exists in the custom mode but could happen rarely in normal gameplay.
• More diplomacy options like defense pacts, puppet states, and asking allies to join wars would also be interesting.

Other ideas
• Ultimatums
• Elections in countries
